WHAT IS COOLSCULPTING?
CoolSculpting® is an FDA-cleared, non-surgical fat-reduction treatment that uses controlled cooling to eliminate stubborn fat that resists all efforts through diet and exercise. The results are proven, noticeable, and lasting.
You'll work with your provider to determine if you’re a candidate and develop a personalized treatment plan. Following treatment, the body will naturally eliminate the dead fat cells, which can result in up to 20-25% reduction of stubborn fat in the treated area.

During your consultation, discuss what areas you'd like to treat, your body contouring goals, and ask questions about treatment.

With different size applicators to choose from and three CoolSculpting* devices, we can design a treatment plan that can give you your desired results.

At the start of your visit, we will take photographs to track your results

Next, your provider will outline the area to be treated, apply a gel pad to create a barrier between the applicator and your skin, and then place the applicators on your body.

There will be a slight vacuum suction sensation as it adheres to your body, followed by that signature cooling effect.

During the treatment you may experience sensations of pulling, tugging, mild pinching, cold, and tingling at the treatment site. These sensations subside as the area becomes numb.

Many of our clients are able to relax during treatments. We encourage bringing a book, laptop, or tablet to occupy your time.

When each treatment ends, the applicator(s) and gel pad are removed. The treated area is then massaged for 2 minutes to help break up the fat cells.

How do I know if I am a candidate for CoolSculpting Elite? Typically, as long as you are able to "pinch" the area of fat and do not have any contraindications, then you are likely a candidate. CoolSculpting cannot treat fat that lies beneath the muscle. You should not be treated with CoolSculpting® Elite if you suffer from cryoglobulinemia, cold agglutinin disease, or paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria. Your provider will assess if you’re a candidate for treatment and develop your personalized treatment plan.
What areas of the body can be treated with CoolSculpting Elite? CoolSculpting® Elite is FDA-cleared to treat 9 areas: under the jawline, under the chin, the upper arms, back fat, bra fat, the flank area (love handles), abdomen, thighs (inner, outer, and above the knee), and under the buttocks (banana roll).
Is CoolSculpting Elite painful? As treatment begins, you’ll feel a light vacuum pressure and an intense cold. After approximately 10 minutes or so, the area being treated will become temporarily numb. Everyone has their own sensitivity to discomfort, but most clients do not find the treatment painful. In fact, many people say they like to read, catch up on email, watch TV shows, or even take a nap. When each treatment ends, the applicator(s) and gel pad are removed. The treated area is then massaged for 2 minutes. Some clients find the massage portion of the treatment uncomfortable, but this is temporary.
